CONNEXIONS is a spatial file manager for Windows. Instead of a list or a grid, your files become a living map — nodes on an infinite canvas, grouped by folder, connected by whatever logic makes sense to you.

It was built for people whose work doesn't fit neatly into a folder hierarchy. Musicians with sprawling project directories. Visual artists juggling references, exports, and drafts. Writers with documents that relate to each other in ways a file tree can't show. Anyone who's ever felt like their file manager was working against them.

SPATIAL NAVIGATION Pan and zoom across your entire directory. Files and folders render as nodes on a canvas. Zoom out to see the full shape of a project. Zoom in to work with individual files. The map adjusts its level of detail automatically so it's never cluttered and never empty.

FREEFORM CONNECTIONS Draw connections between any two files. Link a reference image to a document. Connect audio stems to a mix. Map relationships that exist in your head but nowhere on your hard drive. CONNEXIONS makes those links visible and persistent.

COLOR TAGGING Assign color tags to any file or folder — Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, Gray. Filter the entire map down to a single tag. See only what matters right now.

FILE PREVIEWS Images render as thumbnails. Audio files play directly inside the app. No opening, no switching apps, no context loss.

BUILT-IN EDITOR Open and edit Markdown files without leaving CONNEXIONS. Minimal, distraction-free, auto-saves on focus loss.

FULL FILE OPERATIONS Rename, move, copy, delete — all from inside the map. Right-click any node or open the detail panel. Nothing requires you to leave the canvas.

MULTIPLE DIRECTORIES Open multiple directories simultaneously in tabs.

CONNEXIONS is not trying to replace your existing tools. It's the layer on top — the place where you see how everything fits together.
